Transforming America making O-progress: Apartment residents told to take down U.S. flags

ALBANY, Ore. – At the Oaks Apartments in Albany, the management can fly their own flag advertising one and two bedroom apartments – but residents have been told they can’t fly any flags at all.

Jim Clausen flies the American flag from the back of his motorcycle. He has a son in the military heading back to Iraq, and the flag – he said – is his way of showing support.

This flag stands for all those people,” said Clausen, an Oaks Apartment resident. “It stands for the people that can no longer stand – who died in wars. That’s why I fly this flag.”

But to Oaks Apartment management, Clausen said, the American flag symbolizes problems.

He was told to remove the red, white and blue from both of his rides, or face eviction.

It floored me,” he said. “I can’t believe she was saying what she was saying.

Even long-time residents like Sharron White, who has flown a flag on her car for eight years, has been told to take it down.

White said management told her that “someone might get offended.”

Someone might get offended.”

Progressive Freedom of liberal speech means they can burn it, and piss on it, but you can’t salute it, or fly it.

This revolutionary diversity dissembling of our countries cultural foundations isn’t new. It has been building a structural social tear down, and rebuild, machine for decades.

Banning our USA Flag is happening, and has been happening, all across the land…because our proud flag might offend intolerant people with diverse opinions regarding it’s historical symbolism …(or as apologist Mr. WORLD himself could be expected to say over tea at Ayers house with Iminnadinajacket)

…with all it’s flaws…

Remember Obama says, “I don’t mind people wearing pins or putting stickers on their cars as a show of support for their country or their cause. I am, however, irritated by the notion that so doing makes them somehow superior to those who don’t.”

I’ll say it again – It’s so nice of Obama to not mind people showing their support for their country, isn’t it? …but what irritates me, is the notion that Obama doesn’t seem to understand that The symbol of the USA, it’s pins, stickers and Flag, does not make people feel superior.
Mr. Obama — it makes them feel “PROUD!”

Barry O’s ‘superior’ flag symbol comment foretold his apologizing for America’s suppossed flawed transgressions and trespasses on the world, to the world.

The manager, Barb Holcomb, of this Apt. complex, who enables America hating agitating complainers, trained by bitter seeking people like dealer Obama, ought to hire an ACORN Boat and get all of your sensitive, fellow traveling, irritated butts the Ef out of our country.

If you Marx Pushers don’t like it in America, don’t change it – just get the hell out.

update: Upon further review: Flag ban lifted

Healthy Change: The Serving Obama ACT – lest We Forget

There is no blue – there is no red- there is no division… there is only America.

RIGHT!

A not so funny thing happened on the way to the progressive non-divisive socialist polls – Mr. Unity is changing America into a Soviet style dictatorship.

Some changes are so subtle that none even are aware they have taken place. I digress a little here, but, I was asked the other day ‘when do you think Obama will try to get his civilian security force set up?

Gee- didn’t you know? Congress already passed it’s formation and funding while we were asleep.
Obama signed The GIVE- “Serve America Act” H.R. 1388 into law waaaay back in April- yep right down to UNIFORMS.
Our kids will be wards of the Obama state of infussion.

This SERVE Obama’s Community ACT originaly had MANDATORY servitude of our children as volunteers written in it. Mandatory.

Feeling that the mandatory language requirement might keep the first step of progressive slave advancement from passing in the Serve America Act the Mandatory text was switched to establish the Civic Service Act HR 1444…a Mandatory service and academy study.

It is of course a further indoctrination of our kids into the servitude of the liberal politic block during years of mentor processing and orientation.

Re-education camps.

Tiny obscured steps. Yet right in your face.

Millions of people are not laughing. Millions of people are still asleep.

Congress, who’s approval rating is down to 22%, continues unabated to slam unpoplular marxist changes down our throats. For an entity with such little support their ‘power’ marches on as if the 88% mean nothing more than distraction. The locked and loaded Judicial branch swat every attempt to bring back order to the constitution and preservation of lawful grieveance as if ‘standing’ is only reserved for those who can somehow survive amputation of their tounges, starting at their knees.
The media reports nothing on any of these UnAmerican changes and when they do report on Americans who stand up and say “NO YOU CAN’T!” they are labeled right wing terrorists, republican mobs, astroturf nothings, or Fox news extremists. If the left news shows up and reports at all on events taking place across the nation they seek out and show only what they think will bleed in their political biased favor. People carrying ‘whacko’ signs…even if they saw groups of them get off of ACORN buses.

Obama yesterday declared war on FOX news – the ONLY media outlet providing information on what is going on in Obama’s nation. The newest Obama rabble rouser, Anita Dunn, says FOX is a right arm of the Republicans. Politicaly Biased…first off- are you kidding me? The other 20 TV stations aren’t Obama swooning tenacles of lefty leg tingleing bias? Second – FOX is the only station left/right/ that gives both sides of a story. Third- the ratings show that because the other stations are NOT keeping people informed, people come to FOX to keep up to date on the silenced behind the scenes transformation of America.

The community organizing, tax paid for, speech police attacks from the White House Compound upon FOX fails to understand that they are also attacking the people of America who listen to FOX. In multiplying numbers.

To punish FOX Obama says he won’t be doing any interviews with them. Besides being tired of veiwing his face on every channel I click through we all know the real reason Obama won’t do any interviews is because he would be asked unscripted questions without his puppet props and pre-arranged propaganda.

Today is an important day in American life.

Today we find out how far down the soyent red road of government control will be enacted upon us by this in your face Congress.

This health Bill is not a reformation of Insurance Companies – this is a referendum on control and containment of free people.

The Bill contains expenses of 829 Billion dollars.
So if I get this right- 83% of Americans are now covered – and in order to cover just 11% more people it will cost 82.9 Billion dollars per year.
(Are the remaining 6% going to cost somebody 40 billion more per year in uncovered costs then? Isn’t that figure more like 1.2 trillion over ten years?)
After all of the got to get it done, and cover everyone rhetoric – it is reported some 29 million peeps will be uninsured.

Phuzzy math. Phurry feeling. Phoney phonics.

In the words of a well known JAWS quote: We’re gona need a bigger jail! Anyone know of a Montana Baucus jail with openings??

Leaving behind for a moment that government spending has us hundreds of trillions of dollars in debt, and they NEVER have balanced a checkbook with their excesses causing every man woman and child oweing 343,000 dollars each and growing by the second – forgeting they have never properly regulated anything – what we keep hearing is another 829 Billion is OK so long as the cost doesnt add to the federal deficit…why do we, even IF an accurate amount, keep ignoring that it COSTS 829 BIILION?

ECOn-101, someone still has to pay for the 829 BILLION and it isn’t gona be Congress with their sweetheart health care.
Who pays?
Forget about the mandatory (free) 1900 fine, or one year in jail if you don’t pay a 25,000 buck fine for not being able or willing to pay the fine; forget about the cost of the plan already costing you more than you are paying now by $2,700 too $4,000 a year; I mean why argue.
All these millionaires like Charlie Rangle get away with not paying fines, penalties, taxes, and serving jail time, so why can’t you?

Forget about the 11 million illegals who will be conscripted into the Dem party when they pass ammenesty expecting pay-back-
Forget about the open borders that will still allow millions more to step across the Obama health care freedom act zone – forget about the 3 million in jail who will actually get free zu zu and wham wham health care –
Forget about the 15 million unemployed who geeeee – can keep their insurance through COBRA even though it costs MORE and you don’t have a blasted JOB to continue paying for it anyhow. Have i forgot to add in the millions of government healthy employees who get the special tax paid coverage that won’t be contributing to our forced choice of a plan??
Forget about the millions of poor who will be subsidised by those who will have their own rates go up to cover those supplementals. Forget these are the very same poor who go to hospitals now whom we are told have driven medical costs up. Forget if you have ever tried to qualify as being poor enough to recieve medical insurance with your clerk estimated $2,500 and one dollar vehicle (that you couldn’t get 50 bucks for) that disqualifies you from getting any State help.

Forget about the intrusions into your Bank accounts and IRS filings.

Forget about your preconditional noncovered malady that insurance will be forced to give you at a costs you still can not afford.
Forget completely that every amendment the oppossition has written to protect citizens from these compulsery Bills have been voted down.
Forget the Conscience Clause that Obama will revoke forcing doctors to treat for abortions. Forget about the 45% of Doctors who say they will just quit if the Plan passes. Forget about the new doctors coming up through schools who Obama’s Health Care Czar, Ezekiel, believes will need to be re-taught the non benefits of a do no harm Hypocratic OATH. Forget that the oath and the patient is disposable when that care is too costly; try to forget harm to the Obama system of cost containment outwieghs the patients expectation of actual care.
Forget about a non capitalist system in which a doctors education costs can not be sustained by a gov system that reduces costs by reducing doctors pay.
Forget about a medical schooling system with reduced semesters to compensate the high cost of education giving us doctors prepared by third world training camps.

Forget about government run medical services like Medicare-medicaid-Medi-cal-Veterns Medical- all in the red tank. Broke and Broken.
Forget about Massechuttes(I’ll spell it right later-maybe) mandatory health system that is broke and seeks federal help.
Forget about the Oregon State Run WE-CARE system who will assist you in a 50 dollar medication-suicide rather than expend captial to extend your life with treatment.

Come on, gather round like a good lil collective and forget that some things have to get done in small monte steps. As Obama said in his “ME lie??” speech, “To my progressive friends”… Get your foot in the door and kick the competitive capitalist wall down later. Patience comrades. Or some such message.

Now, did I forget to mention MANDATORY participation? A lot of that going ’round.

Forget about the massive distributive bureaucracy to keep TRACK of, who does- who doesn’t- who has- who has not- who will- who will not –
Forget they’ve told us how many zillions they will save on bureaucracy and paperwork.

Forget about that doctor who wants to yank your tonsils – you’ll get to take some pills and keep them.

Forget about employers who will continue to have to get rid of people because health costs will continue to rise from this plan that doesn’t address anything but TAX-FINE-PENALIZE_ to pay for a health system that

Oh wait, that brings me back full circle too ECOn-101 which was my basis for all this forgetfullness…If the plan does nothing more, if it did NOTHING more at all, than to tax Insurance companies and medical labs and medical products then that industry HAS TO PASS the cost on to the consumer.
Premiums have to go up. In fact premiums have to go UP in EXCESS of whatever the natural-unnatural astronomical unaffordable BS costs that has been going up each year now.
The industry can not survive imposed regulations without passing costs on to health care payers. But you can go ahead and KEEP your insurance so long as they can survive. Right?
Regulated Forced Cost Increases (to what purpose one must ask) when the purpose we are fed for hurry up reform is to get costs down.

These Bills’ proposals do no such thing. Health care costs are not lessened.

Freedom of CHOICE is not increased by mandate choices.

The only element of cost savings in any of these health care plans is the human cost effectiveness element. Rationing.

Remember Howard Dean standing there telling a crowd that the reason there is no tort reform in any bills is because the LAWYERS wouldn’t have gone for it. A reported 400 Billion dollar savings thta could reduce our premiums. NO-NO! This of course while they won’t listen to everyday people who also say they won’t go for it. For some wierd reason Dems think all protests are republicans whoose campaign dollars they won’t get anyway – so screw you.

You think they won’t take your DEM health care dollars, like they are taking the seniors, to pay for their other special social entitlements and bankrupt Health Care like they did Social Security?

When you stop looking at the talking head options and look at the body of this compulsory transformation of America there is no beneficial welfare to anyone except the progressive marx agenda and Obama’s redistribution of power.

It is the “change” Obama was talking about to those who understood the language.

Apparently while I have been writting this, this draconian Baucus Health Bill, which reportedly no one has read, because as code of guidelines it really hasn’t even been written yet, has passed the Senate.
Olympia Snowe, who has become a servant of Obama alinsky-nomics, voted in favor of Obamacare useage against the will of the majority of American people who said “Leave our health care alone”.

Obama calls Snowe’s cross-over support a bi-partisan victory.

I wonder what Hugo Chavez calls it?

Obama’s transformation Change: Now is the time for all good comrades to come to the aid of the revolution.

Will we wake up in time?

Congressman Steve King to Obama: FIRE Jennings NOW!

Lawmaker sends letter to Obama: Fire Jennings now
Washington Examiner
By: Byron York
Chief Political Correspondent
10/06/09 2:08 PM EDT
Republican Rep. Steve King is sending a letter to the president today calling for the firing of gay activist Kevin Jennings, head of the Education Department’s Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools. “The totality of Mr. Jennings’ career has been to advocate for public affirmation of homosexuality,” King writes. “There is more to safe and drug free shools than can be accomplished from the narrow view of Mr. Jennings who has, for more than 20 years almost exclusively focused on promoting the homosexual agenda.”

In the letter, King points to a foreword Jennings wrote for a 1999 book entitled Queering Elementary Education, as well as Jennings’ work as founder of the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network. King also mentions a 1988 incident in which Jennings, then a teacher, chose not to alert any authorities when he learned of a teenage boy, a student, who had become involved with an adult man. Finally, King points to stories Jennings has told of his own drug use. “Kevin Jennings cannot gain the approval of parents who want their children safe and their schools drug free,” King writes.

King is the first member of Congress to call for Jennings’ removal. Here is the entire text of the letter to the president:

Dear Mr. President,

I respectfully request that you remove Kevin Jennings, the Assistant Deputy Secretary for the Office of Safe and Drug Free Schools. It is clear that Mr. Jennings lacks the appropriate qualifications and ethical standards to serve in this capacity.

Mr. Jennings life’s work has been the promotion of homosexuality, much of it in our elementary schools. As the founder of the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), Mr. Jennings has played an integral role in promoting a pro-homosexual agenda in America’s schools. As evidence of this, Kevin Jennings wrote the foreword for a book titled Queering Elementary Education: Advancing the Dialogue About Sexualities and Schooling. Throughout his career, Mr. Jennings has made it his mission to establish special protections for gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgendered students. The totality of Mr. Jennings’ career has been to advocate for public affirmation of homosexuality. There is more to safe and drug free schools than can be accomplished from the narrow view of Mr. Jennings who has, for more than 20 years, almost exclusively focused on promoting the homosexual agenda.

Equally troubling is Mr. Jennings’ self-reported history of ignoring the sexual abuse of a child. In his book, One Teacher in Ten, Mr. Jennings recounts a 15-year old student confiding in him that he had sexual relations with a much older man. Mr. Jennings’ only response was to ask if the underage boy used a condom. Kevin Jennings was a mandatory reporter who was required by law to report child abuse, including sex crimes. If the victim had been a 15-year old girl with a 25-year old man, I suspect Mr. Jennings might have obeyed the law but his career of promoting the homosexual agenda likely affected his judgment. Mr. Jennings cannot serve as the “safe schools” czar when his record demonstrates his willingness to overlook sexual abuse of a child.

As the “safe school” czar, Mr. Jennings is also charged with ensuring our schools and students are drug free. It is clear that Mr. Jennings is unfit to serve in this capacity, as well. His own history of unrepentant drug and alcohol abuse indicates that he is of the opinion that getting drunk and high as a young person is acceptable. In his memoir, Mama’s Boy, Preacher’s Son, Mr. Jennings describes his use of illegal drugs, without expressing regret or acknowledging the devastating effects illegal drug use can have on a person’s life.

Everyone that deals with the education of the most vulnerable must be a positive role model. Our children are not blessed with the wisdom to discern and reject. Children presume the adults who educate them are approved by the larger society and their parents. Kevin Jennings cannot gain the approval of parents who want their children safe and their schools drug free. Perhaps you could replace him with someone who has a record of nurturing and educating children in a safe and moral environment. Given the very serious issues with Mr. Jennings’ record, I urge you to remove him immediately.

Sincerely,

Steve King
Member of Congress

If history repeats itself – and it does- This letter will get about as much response as Mr. King’s letter back in March to disqualify Obama’s Legal Council, Ms. Dawn pro-life-is-servitude-to-the-state, Johnsen. (who is expected to be confirmed any day now.)

Obama’s Approval Ratings Rise?? How is this possible?

It is being reported that Obama’s Approval Ratings Rise
A new Associated Press-GfK poll finds 56% of those surveyed approve of President Obama’s job performance, up from 50% in September. It’s the first time since he took office in January that his rating has gone up.

People also feel better about his handling of the economy and his proposed health care overhaul.

How in smokin’ global mirror hell is this possible?

Unemployment continues to rise to a staggering 15 million and it’s predicted to get worse – before it gets better.
We then have Joe the Biden exclaiming that he is amazed how well the Stimulus Bill has provided for the countries recovery. As Biden dines on his illussions and politic allusion recovery-stake perhaps the unemployed are far too busy trying to figure out how to make it day to day to participate in boiler room polls.

The Health Nut Bills have been completely rejected by the majority of non-jailed Americans. This newest pay or be fined version from the Finance Committee is no less draconian or costly than any of the other unconstitutional bills. There still isn’t a freedom of no-choice consensus amoung the dems’- yet we are being told that polls show ObamaGovCare support, of controlling our lives from pre birth until death do ye part, has risen this week?
Must have been all those white coats that were passed out in the Rose Garden to Obama’s propaganda doc-tured props.

Obama leaves his Generals’ request for additional troops on his desk for a month as he trots off to Copenhagen to lobby for Valerie Jarrett’s Chicago Real Estate Improvements and in the same week he gets his beret handed to him his approval polls go up?

Good patriotic Americans far out number the red radical left but Obama’s approval rises during the time period he shuts down democracy in Honduras and hits them with aid sanctions to force them to return Communist bound Dictator Zelaya to power. How is this possible?

Obama has tried and succeeded in facist take over of financial Banking and Lending institutions, Auto Companies, broken lien laws, forced people to resign private positions, enacted Wage cielings, promised global collectivism and financial crates of dollars spread to the have-nots taken from the have’s, and we are being told today that his approval ratings are on the rise?

Those that struggle to remain free in the media field are threatened to be silenced. Plans are in the works to muzzle internet speech with Obama’s individual power to shut down communications and I read from media feeders of such polling truth that Obama’s new and improved statist Constitutional changes are chugging up the I love you charts.?

Obama is spending our country into a financial collapse, that in true Alinsky style, will open the door to the masses pleading to be rescued. To organize one must fundamentaly destroy in order to reorganize. Americans from sea to sea have become aware of the Obama change and are resisting in droves and yet we are told Obama’s collective agenda is being met with rising approval.

Obama’s global buddies want to change the monetary system away from the dollar and are making oil deals that will shut us out, and shut us down. Obama sends bucks to Brazil for Soros oil exploration while keeping America’s own oil independence beholden to submission too terrorist energy. Are these foreign people sitting at phone banks conducting their own polls? Cause I just don’t get it.

Obama’s WHO (White House Organization) answers to no-one. This round table of outed radical czars and fellow travelers have some of the most dispicable backgrounds and extremeist ideas for the fundamental change of America’s social architecture and yet Obama’s approval rating has taken a positive upward spike?

OBama refuses to meet with the peaceful dalai lama but he’ll meet with maniac Ahmadinejad without conditions. (gosh I’m tired of asking google how to sprell that iminnadinnajackets name.)

The real picture is that the majority of polls, of EVERY issue, except participation in the Afghan war which is even, has Obama failing.

Ask yourself, what has Obama done that brings his ratings up?

Impossible.

It is an illussion of the bogus co-operative manipulation-machines of staged white coat reality.

Obama no show at Czars Hearing: Too Busy Supporting Honduras totalitarianism

As Obama goes on supporting the plans of the (Chavez backed) dictatorship proposed by that of rightfully and lawfully deposed President Manuel Zelaya, Obama is a no-show at the hearings calling for investigation into the constitutionality and duties of Obama’s czars.

Obama sent not one representative to the hearings to explain himself – to anyone.

Don’t ask- won’t tell.

In Honduras Obama has turned his back on democracy in favor of his communist brothers.

There was a constitutional transfer of power to Roberto Micheletti in Honduras after then president Zelaya attempted to change the constitution to allow himself to remain in power.
The Supreme Court stepped in to prevent Zelaya’s unconstitutional coup and removed him from the country to prevent his inciting Chavez backed riots.

In an attempt to force the Honduran government to return power to the threatening dictator Zelaya, the United States under Obama has revoked the visa of Roberto Micheletti and the 14 supreme court judges.

Although the next election cycle is scheduled for November Obama has told temporary president Micheletti and the Honduran Government that those elections will not be recognized. All nonhumanitarian aide has been stopped.

Return Zelaya to power or else.

Just as Obama turned his back on the Iranian people demanding democratic justice in the streets of Iran after corrupt elections so too Obama has turned his back on one of the only pro-american countries left in South America.

The people of Honduras are shocked by the one dependable defender of freedom in the world turning it’s power switch to off.

Zelaya is backed by Hugo Chavez, Ortega, the Cuban brothers Castro, and now Obama.

Though Obama answers to no one, congress, the american people, the media, he did make time to sacrafice the dalai lama in favor of China today.

Our new foriegn and domestic policy- turn our backs on good people – and stand for Obama’s special interests.

How much RED do we have to see before people get it?

Gen McChrystal battles Obama to win War?

by greybeard

It is reported that Obama is furious with General Stanley McChrystal who has said he is firmly against half measures in Afghanistan: “You can’t hope to contain the fire by letting just half the building burn.”

Mr Obama has only met Gen McChrystal once since McChrystals’ appointment in June. That is one time more than Obama met with anybody for discussions when he was head of the Afghan War Committee during his equaly unattended Senate tenure.
His 25 minute roadtrip conference on the airport tarmack in Copenhagen with his general was shorter than the time spent to convince Olympic officials to bring the Games to the gandland War torn streets of Chicago.

Gen McChrystal, who heads the 68,000 US troops in Afghanistan as well as the 100,000 Nato forces, flatly rejected proposals to switch to a strategy more reliant on drone missile strikes and special forces operations against al-Qaeda.

He told the Institute of International and Strategic Studies that the formula, which is favoured by Vice-President Joe Biden, would lead to “Chaos-istan“.

When asked whether he would support it, he said: “The short answer is: No.”

He went on to say: “Waiting does not prolong a favorable outcome. This effort will not remain winnable indefinitely, and nor will public support.”

The remarks have been seen by some in the Obama administration as a barbed reference to the slow pace of debate within the White House.

An adviser to the administration said: “People aren’t sure whether McChrystal is being naïve or an upstart. To my mind he doesn’t seem ready for this Washington hard-ball and is just speaking his mind too plainly.”

So as always when one doesn’t agree with Obama out come the name calling disablers.
Naive – upstart -…play ball or shut up.

Back in Obama campaign days when ‘public support’ was against Iraq- and pro Afghanistan – Obama liked to point out that Afghanistan was the ‘right’ war and that all efforts should have been directed there.

It appears, as predicted, Obama is making no efforts to listen to his commanders on the ground. Commanders of military expertise (of which Obama has no experience other than organizing on the ground anti-war militant communist rabbleradicals) began criticising the White House for failing to tackle the issue more quickly.

Obama who was ‘against the Iraq Surge’ and commented one would never know whether or not adding troops in Iraq would have been a successful stragedy without them – is ignoring history- it did work.

Gen McChrystal has made it clear that winning the war requires more troops. Supporting the lives of the troops, now there, requires additional troops. He has predicted ‘failure’ without 40,000 more troops.

Meanwhile yesterday another 8 military people died in Afghanistan while Obama flits around the world flexing his ego or beginning this week gathering together white coat props on the White House to promote his personal socialist health agenda.

Does Obama want to win the war in Afghanistan or return it to the land of terroist training camps?

Why does Obama hesitate?

What will happen to purple fingered believers of democratic freedom if the Taliban move back in unoppossed?

One is reminded of the liberal surrender in which Pol Pot slaughtered 3 million when it was decided that defeat was a more popular voting block than victory voices.

Must be one of those ‘shared sacrafice’ memos.

An Obama advisor (James Jones; xgeneral?) came out today saying there is no danger of the Taliban returning to power…are you kidding me? Who the hell does Obama and his propaganda minions think are attacking and killing our brave troops? Does this Obama think-tank want us to believe that the taliban will simply disappear back into the hills and dissolve if Americans go home?

The Taliban are fighting to return to power and anyone who says differently is a fool. The Taliban will provide safe haven for Al-Qaeda who won’t have to hide out in POKistan any longer and will be untouchable by POKistan troops.

I hesitate to say, because the land will be returned to unfettered terrorist training, and we will surely have to deal with terrorists again because of Obama rule, but Mr. Obama , if you are not going to WIN this war, and do whatever it takes to WIN this War and support and protect the men and women fighting it, then you need to bring our sons, daughters, dads and moms, Home.

They are dying there while Obama ignores his field commander who wants to at least TRY to win the war and protect his troops and in so doing- protect America.

We are all quite sure that McChrystal’s McArthur leadership stance, with words that matter, will cause his military future in Afghansistan to be as short lived as Obama’s promise in Prauge to go forward with the missile defense system…

Gen McChrystal, sir, you are a patriot! Please continue being a voice that won’t be silenced.

The Obama change machine began decades ago taking over school boards , city councils, infiltrating local and state government -community by community- district by district- it is far past time to take the pages of these radicals’ handbooks and tear them up and rewrite the deplorable value system they have shoved down our necks.

The Queering of America: Kevin Jennings’ Social Conditioning of our kids in schools

see some of my notes on Obama’s Safe School czar Kevin Jennings

Queering the Schools
by Marjorie King

At a high school in prosperous Newton, Massachusetts, it’s “To B GLAD Day”—or, less delicately, Transgender, Bisexual, Gay, Lesbian Awareness Day. An advocacy session for students and teachers features three self-styled transgendered individuals—a member of the senior class and two recent graduates. One of the transgenders, born female, announces that “he” had been taking hormones for 16 months. “Right now I am a 14-year-old boy going through puberty and a 55-year-old woman going through menopause,” she complains. “I am probably the moodiest person in the world.” A second panelist declares herself an “androgyne in between both genders of society.” She adds, “Gender is just a bunch of stereotypes from society, but I am completely personal, and my gender is fluid.”

Only in liberal Massachusetts could a public school endorse such an event for teens, you might think. But you would be wrong. For the last decade or so, largely working beneath public or parental notice, a well-organized movement has sought to revolutionize the curricula and culture of the nation’s public schools. Its aim: to stamp out “hegemonic heterosexuality”—the traditional view that heterosexuality is the norm—in favor of a new ethos that does not just tolerate homosexuality but instead actively endorses experimenting with it, as well as with a polymorphous range of bisexuality, transgenderism, and transsexuality. The educational establishment has enthusiastically signed on. What this portends for the future of the public schools and the psychic health of the nation’s children is deeply worrisome.

This movement to “queer” the public schools, as activists put it, originated with a shift in the elite understanding of homosexuality. During the eighties, when gay activism first became a major cultural force, homosexual leaders launched a campaign that mirrored the civil rights movement. To claim their rights, homosexuals argued (without scientific evidence) that their orientation was a genetic inheritance, like race, and thus deserved the same kind of civil protections the nation had guaranteed to blacks. An inborn, unchangeable fact, after all, could not be subject to moral disapproval. There ensued a successful effort to normalize homosexuality throughout the culture, including a strong push for homosexual marriage, gays in the military, and other signs of civic equality.

But even as the homosexual-rights campaign won elite endorsement and lavish funding, even as supportive organizations proliferated, the gay movement began to split internally. By the early nineties, many gay activists viewed goals such as gay marriage or domestic partner unions as lamely “assimilationist”—an endorsement of standards of behavior that “queers,” as they called themselves, should reject as oppressively “straight.” And they militantly began defending the “queer lifestyle” not as an ineluctable fate but as the result of a fully conscious choice.

Underlying this militant stance was a radical new academic ideology called “queer theory.” A mixture of the neo-Freudianism of counterculture gurus Norman O. Brown and Herbert Marcuse and French deconstruction, queer theory takes to its extreme limit the idea that all sexual difference and behavior is a product of social conditioning, not nature. It is, in their jargon, “socially constructed.” For the queer theorist, all unambiguous and permanent notions of a natural sexual or gender identity are coercive impositions on our individual autonomy—our freedom to reinvent our sexual selves whenever we like. Sexuality is androgynous, fluid, polymorphous—and therefore a laudably subversive and even revolutionary force.

Rutgers English professor Michael Warner, a leading queer theorist, observes that categories like “heterosexual” and “homosexual” are part of “the regime of the normal” that queer theory wants to explode. “What identity,” he writes, “encompasses queer girls who f*&k queer boys with strap-ons, or FTMs (female-to-male transsexuals) who think of themselves as queer, FTMs who think of themselves as straights, or FTMs for whom life is a project of transition and screw the categories anyway?” To overturn the old dichotomies of hetero/homo and even male/female, Warner encourages continuous sexual experimentation.

A relatively recent arrival on college campuses, queer theory has swiftly dominated the myriad university gender-studies programs and spread its influence to other disciplines, too, “queering” everything under the sun. Type “queering” into Amazon.com’s search engine, and up comes Queering the Middle Ages, Queering the Color Line, Queering India, and many other books, many from prestigious academic presses.

It would be tempting to dismiss queer theory as just another intellectual fad, with little influence beyond the campus, if not for gay activists’ aggressive effort to introduce the theory’s radical view of sexuality into the public schools. Leading the effort is the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Educational Network (GLSEN, pronounced “glisten”), an advocacy group founded a decade ago to promote homosexual issues in the public schools. It now boasts 85 chapters, four regional offices, and some 1,700 student clubs, called “gay/straight alliances,” that it has helped form in schools across the country.

GLSEN often presents itself as a civil rights organization, saying that it is only after “tolerance” and “understanding” for a victim group. Sometimes, therefore, it still speaks the old gay-rights language of unchangeable homosexual “identity” and “orientation.” But it is, in fact, a radical organization that has clearly embraced the queer-theory worldview. It seeks to transform the culture and instruction of every public school, so that children will learn to equate “heterosexism”—the favoring of heterosexuality as normal—with other evils like racism and sexism and will grow up pondering their sexual orientation and the fluidity of their sexual identity.

That GLSEN embraces queer theory is clear from the addition of transgendered students to the gays and lesbians the group claims to represent. By definition, the transgendered are those who choose to change their gender identity by demeanor, dress, hormones, or surgery. Nothing could be more profoundly opposed to the notion of a natural sexual identity. Consider as evidence of queer theory’s influence, too, the GLSEN teachers’ manual that says that middle-schoolers “should have the freedom to explore [their] sexual orientation and find [their] own unique expression of lesbian, bisexual, gay, straight, or any combination of these.” What is this but Michael Warner’s appeal to pansexual experimentation?

One of the major goals of GLSEN and similar groups is to reform public school curricula and teaching so that Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender—or LGBT—themes are always central and always presented in the approved light. GLSEN holds regular conferences for educators and activists with workshops bearing titles such as “Girls Will Be Boys and Boys Will Be Girls: Creating a Safe, Supportive School Environment for Trans, Intersex, Gender Variant and Gender Questioning Youth” and “Developing and Implementing a Transgender Inclusive Curriculum.” Every course in every public school should focus on LGBT issues, GLSEN believes. A workshop at GLSEN’s annual conference in Chicago in 2000 complained that “most LGBT curricula are in English, history and health” and sought ways of introducing its agenda into math and science classes, as well. (As an example of how to queer geometry, GLSEN recommends using gay symbols such as the pink triangle to study shapes.)

Nor is it ever too early to begin stamping out heterosexism. A 2002 GLSEN conference in Boston held a seminar on “Gender in the Early Childhood Classroom” that examined ways of setting “the tone for nontraditional gender role play” for preschoolers. To help get the LGBT message across to younger children, teachers can turn to an array of educational products, many of them available from GLSEN. Early readers include One Dad, Two Dads, Brown Dad, Blue Dads; King and King; and Asha’s Mums.

As for teaching aids, a 1999 book, Queering Elementary Education, with a foreword by GLSEN executive director Kevin Jennings, offers essays on “Locating a Place for Gay and Lesbian Themes in Elementary Reading, Writing and Talking” and “How to Make ‘Boys’ and ‘Girls’ in the Classroom”—the scare quotes showing the queer theorist’s ever present belief that categorizing gender is a political act.

For comprehensiveness, nothing beats a GLSEN-recommended resource manual distributed to all K–12 public schools in Saint Paul and Minneapolis. The manual presents an educational universe that filters everything through an LGBT lens. Lesson ideas include “role playing” exercises to “counter harassment,” where students pretend, say, to be bisexual and hear hurtful words cast at them; testing students to see where their attitudes lie toward sexual “difference” (mere tolerance is unacceptable; much better is “admiration” and, best of all, “nurturance”); getting students to take a “Sexual Orientation Quiz”; and having heterosexual students learn 37 ways that heterosexuals are privileged in society. In turn, principals should make an “ongoing PA announcement”—once a week, the manual says—telling students about confidential support programs for LGBT students.

Teachers, the manual suggests, should demand that public school students memorize the approved meanings of important LGBT words and terms, from “bigenderist” to “exotophobia.” Sometimes, these approved meanings require Orwellian redefinitions: “Family: Two or more persons who share resources, share responsibility for decisions, share values and goals, and have commitments to one another over a period of time . . . regardless of blood, or adoption, or marriage.”

Two videos come particularly highly rated by gay activists and educators as tools for making primary school queer-friendly. Both films strive to present homosexuality in a favorable light, without saying what it actually is. It’s Elementary, intended for parents, educators, and policymakers, shows how classroom teachers can lead kindergartners through carefully circumscribed discussions of the evils of prejudice, portrayed as visited to an unusual degree on gays and lesbians. In That’s a Family, designed for classroom use, children speak directly into the camera, explaining to other kids how having gay and lesbian parents is no different from, for example, having parents of different national backgrounds.

GLSEN even provides lesson plans for the promotion of cross-dressing in elementary school classes. A school resource book containing such lesson plans, Cootie Shots: Theatrical Inoculations Against Bigotry for Kids, Parents, and Teachers, has already been used in second-grade classrooms in California. A children’s play in the book features a little boy singing of the exhilaration of striding about “In Mommy’s High Heels,” in angry defiance of the criticism of his intolerant peers:

They are the swine, I am the pearl. . . .
They’ll be beheaded when I’m queen!
When I rule the world! When I rule the world!
When I rule the world in my mommy’s high heels!

Some of the LGBT-friendly curricular material aimed at older children is quite sexually explicit. The GLSEN-recommended reading list for grades 7–12 is dominated by such material, depicting the queer sexuality spectrum. In Your Face: Stories from the Lives of Queer Youth features a 17-year-old who writes, “I identify as bisexual and have since I was about six or seven. . . . I sort of experimented when I was young.” Another GLSEN recommendation, Revolutionary Voices: A Multicultural Queer Youth Anthology, has a 16-year-old contributor who explains, “My sexuality is as fluid, indefinable and ever-changing as the north flowing river.”

Some of the most explicit homosexual material has shown up in classrooms. An Ohio teacher encouraged her freshman students to read Entries From a Hot Pink Notebook, a teen coming-out story that includes a graphic depiction of sex between two 14-year-old boys. In Newton, Massachusetts, a public school teacher assigned his 15-year-old students The Perks of Being a Wallflower, a farrago of sexual confusion, featuring an episode of bestiality as one of its highlights. Such books represent a growth industry for publishers, including mainstream firms.

As part of its effort to make the public schools into an arena of homosexual and transgender advocacy, GLSEN works assiduously to build a wide network of student organizers. It looks for recruits as young as 14, who in turn are to bring on board other students to form gay/straight alliances or other homosexual-themed student clubs at their schools. Glancing over the biographies of 2002’s student organizers reveals a uniform faith among them that experimenting with a range of homosexual behaviors serves the cause of civil rights.

The behavior in question involves some practices that the Marquis de Sade would welcome. A GLSEN-sponsored, taxpayer-funded “teach out” for activists, educators, and students to brainstorm ways of creating schools and communities that “are truly inclusive and safe,” held at Tufts University a while back, is a case in point. The daylong conference, with Massachusetts Department of Education and other state employees as workshop leaders and drawing many high school students and teachers (who received professional development credits for attending), featured a “youth only, ages 14–21” session that offered a lesson in “fisting”—the potentially dangerous act, called by some the first new sexual invention in 1,000 years, of inserting one’s fist into a partner’s anus or vagina.

Thanks to two members of the local Parents’ Rights Coalition, who secretly taped the session, we know that the fisting lesson did not arouse universal enthusiasm among the teens present. A boy asks why anyone would want to do such a thing. Other teens reportedly winced. But the self-identified gay and lesbian state employees turned aside doubts. One—a woman—explained that, though fisting “often gets a really bad rap,” it usually isn’t about the pain—“not that we’re putting that down.” Rather, she assured, it is “an experience of letting somebody into your body that you want to be close and intimate with.”

And so the workshop proceeded, marketing the polymorphously perverse to the sexually naive and emotionally immature. The etiquette of swallowing versus spitting after oral sex came up, as did the question of whether a tongue ring makes oral sex more pleasurable. Other topics included: how to use dildos, the mechanics of lesbian sexual gratification, and whether celery makes semen taste sweeter. The workshop leaders were sophisticated, yet breezy and colloquial, using street language and referring quite openly to their own sexual experiences—a Department of Public Health worker making his homosexual promiscuity obvious. The workshop initiated adolescents into a forbidden world that their parents likely knew nothing about.

In the winter of 2001, Tufts hosted another GLSEN-sponsored conference, entitled “Creating Safety—Teaching Respect.” This time, most of the 650 people present were teenagers, rounded up by gay activists or coming on their own to receive instruction in queer sexuality. Planned Parenthood representatives handed out special kits, containing latex gloves and lubricants, for “safe” fisting.

GLSEN and other activist homosexual groups have effectively used “safe school” campaigns to further their agenda. The federal Safe and Drug-Free Schools Program—Title IV of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act—provides millions of dollars to state education departments to combat drugs and violence in the public schools. Using some of these funds, gay activists have helped design and promote public school “tolerance” programs. One of the mildest of such programs, “Healing the Hate,” released in 1997 under Department of Justice sposorship, implicitly likens disapproval of homosexual behavior with the prejudices that in the past have led to lynchings, church burnings, and the Holocaust. Gay groups contend—dubiously—that such programs are necessary because homosexual students must endure bullying and hatred every day in schools across the country.

GLSEN is quite explicit about using the safety issue to silence opponents. As GLSEN chief Kevin Jennings puts it, “We knew that, confronted with the real-life stories of youth who had suffered from homophobia, our opponents would automatically be on the defensive. . . . This allowed us to set the terms of the debate.”

At the urging of gay/straight alliances, schools across the U.S. have also created “safe” rooms for homosexual or sexually confused students, as if they might not be safe from “hate” and “intolerance” elsewhere in the school. In these rooms, identified by inverted pink triangles, students can discuss same-sex attraction or anxiety about sexual orientation with teachers or counselors, who promise a nonjudgmental and sympathetic hearing. Students who drop by for private discussion about their sexual confusion will often be referred—without parental knowledge—to local chapters of gay and lesbian organizations. If queer theorists are correct that homosexuality is a free choice, then parents might be forgiven for thinking such advocacy a kind of recruitment.

Without doubt, most parents would look at the subversive agenda on offer at GLSEN conferences and in LGBT-friendly curricula and find it bizarre and offensive. What sense, they might ask, does it make to “queer” math or science or other classes—whatever that might mean—when so many public schools fail even to produce minimally literate and numerate graduates?

Especially when all the evidence suggests that the incidence of self-labeled homosexuality and bisexuality in the population is in fact minuscule—just 1.4 percent of female subjects and 2.8 percent of male subjects, according to one of the largest and most scientific surveys by the National Opinion Research Center. Even Kinsey, with a very distorted sample population of volunteers, prison inmates (including sex offenders), and deliberately solicited homosexual respondents, only came up with a 4 percent figure for exclusive homosexual behavior, still far below the 10 percent frequently cited by homosexual activists. Should we revolutionize the schools for such a tiny minority?

Even more to the point, how many parents, even those not just tolerant of homosexuality but actively sympathetic toward homosexual rights, would really want their teenage children to be seeking out a “unique expression” of sexuality (let alone with their school’s help) or learning how to “fist”? How many would want their kindergartners—just figuring out their identities and desperately needing clear-cut categories like “boy” and “girl” to make sense of them—to engage in “non-traditional role play,” so that they grow up with warm feelings about transgendered people? Or their elementary school boys and girls exposed to sexual themes that they aren’t old enough to understand and that are likely to fill them with anxiety? Parents might well brush off an old-fashioned word and describe it all as, well . . . perverse.

As for bullying, the real problem is not anti-gay prejudice but the overall breakdown of school discipline. No child should have to put up with verbal or physical intimidation at school. Making schools safer, however, does not require importing a broader LGBT agenda that offends the values of many students and parents.

Nevertheless, though many parents aren’t aware of it yet, the agenda has moved far beyond the wishful thinking of activists. The keynote speaker at GLSEN’s 2000 conference was Robert Chase, president of the 2.7 million-member National Education Association, the nation’s biggest, most powerful teachers’ union. The program booklet for the event featured greetings not only from Chase but from then-president Clinton, Chicago mayor Richard Daley, and the head of the American Federation of Teachers, the second-biggest U.S. teachers’ union. The celebratory notes expressed the kind of praise once reserved for groups like the Boy Scouts. A long list of well-known organizations has backed LGBT programs in the classroom, including the American Psychiatric Association, the American Library Association, and the National Association of Social Workers.

No organization has been more steadfast in its support of GLSEN than the NEA. During the NEA’s annual convention in July 2001, many observers expected the teachers’ union to pass an official resolution incorporating GLSEN’s sweeping educational goals into K–12 curricula nationwide. As it turns out, the NEA, clearly trying to minimize public awareness of an unprecedented infringement on parental prerogatives, tabled the resolution and announced a task force to study how best to approach LGBT issues in the schools. But in February 2002, the NEA board of directors approved the task force’s report—a pure emanation of the GLSEN worldview, as is clear both from its numerous citations of GLSEN documents in the footnotes and from its recommendations.

Following the task force’s lead, the NEA will now struggle to expunge “heterosexism” from the consciousness of children in the classroom. The union has encouraged schools to integrate LGBT themes into curricula, instructional material, and programs; to emphasize the legitimacy of different “family structures,” including domestic partner arrangements; and to offer counseling services for students struggling with their “sexual/gender orientation.” Small wonder that GLSEN greeted the NEA task force’s report, and its endorsement by the union, with hosannas. “These powerful new recommendations signal that help is on the way for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender students and staff who experience day-to-day abuse in America’s schools,” enthused GLSEN head Jennings.

The queering of the public schools has perhaps advanced furthest in California, where a new state law requires public schools to teach all K–12 students (and K means five-year-olds) “to appreciate various sexual orientations.” What the new law might mean in practice, warned a state assemblyman, was on display at Santa Rosa High School, where invited homosexual activists “talked about using cellophane during group sex and said that ‘clear is best because you can see what you want to lick,’ ” or at Hale Middle School in Los Angeles, where during an AIDS education course, “12-year-olds were subjected to graphic descriptions of anal sex and tips on how to dispose of used condoms so parents don’t find out.” As the assemblyman noted, sex ed courses throughout California public schools, influenced heavily by national sex education advocates SEICUS and Planned Parenthood, have already enthusiastically endorsed the GLSEN worldview.

But California is only the cutting edge: efforts to queer the schools are under way in many other locales, from Massachusetts to Oregon. The co-chair of the Massachusetts Governor’s Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth, for example, informs the Boston Globe that teachers across that state are increasingly integrating LGBT themes into lessons—discussing the sexual orientation of authors as an interpretive tool in literature classes, she says, or comparing gay and bisexual with straight student mental health data in order to study percentages. After a ferocious battle, the Broward School Board in Florida recently voted to rely on GLSEN to train teachers in LGBT “sensitivity.” In Gresham, Oregon, in early 2002, school officials at Centennial High School brought in gay and lesbian speakers in English, drama, and health classes during the school’s annual “diversity” week, neither telling students about it beforehand nor letting them opt out of the classes if they wanted. Parental anger forced school officials to issue a public apology.

GLSEN constantly emphasizes the need for tolerance for homosexuality, bisexuality, and transgenderism, but if someone bucks the LGBT party line in a school that follows it, watch out. Consider the experience of Elliott Chambers, formerly a student at Woodbury High School in a suburb of Saint Paul, Minnesota. Woodbury High had posted pink triangles on 48 of its 60-odd classrooms and offices (what made the other rooms “unsafe” isn’t clear). Belonging to a conservative family, Chambers decided one day to express his values and wore to school a sweatshirt with the words STRAIGHT PRIDE emblazoned across the front and an image of a man and woman holding hands on the back.

The school principal found this expression of support for heterosexuality unacceptable. He forbade Chambers from wearing the sweatshirt in school, explaining that another student had found it offensive. Chambers’s parents, increasingly concerned about what they considered Woodbury’s aggressive endorsement of the LGBT agenda, met with the principal, who charged them with being “homophobic”—a frequent accusation made not only against anyone who questions the morality of homosexual acts but also against anyone who doesn’t accept the entire gay activist program, as if such questioning could only grow out of psychological disturbance rather than reasoned judgment. The parents then filed a federal lawsuit, claiming that the school had squelched their son’s First Amendment rights.

When a preliminary judgment came down in Chambers’s favor, the principal announced over the school public address system that the court had actually agreed with school officials that the sentiment of “straight pride” seemed intolerant toward homosexuality, and if circumstances changed so as to create “a reasonable belief that a substantial disruption of, or material interference with, school activities might ensue” from the wearing of the shirt, the school could prohibit it again. Foreseeing further disturbance, Mrs. Chambers decided to home-school her son.

The Chamberses’ experience was far from unique. Objecting when a teacher joins the ranks of the transgendered is out of the question in some school districts, no matter how disturbing it may be to schoolchildren and parents alike. But for those adhering to the queer agenda, the problem is with the kids and parents, not their “evolving” educator. When Principal Donald Reed of the Marie Murphy Middle School in Wilmette, Illinois, announced to school officials a few weeks before the 2001 school year began that he had undergone “gender reassignment”—a sex-change operation—and would henceforth be Principal Deanna Reed, the school superintendent and other administrators, faithful to the GLSEN spirit, didn’t remove him/her, despite parental outrage. Instead, the school district hired a psychologist to advise teachers on how best to counsel children who seemed confused or disturbed by their principal’s strange transformation. Administrators encouraged parents, too, to bring their concerns to “professionals.”

Parents or other concerned citizens who complain about any aspect of the queering of public education can face withering attacks, not just from gay activists but from cultural elites in general. When the two members of the Parents’ Rights Coalition released their tape of the GLSEN-sponsored fisting workshop to the public, to take one typical example, the Boston Globe didn’t condemn the use of public funds and state employees to instruct schoolchildren in an arcane and dangerous “sexual” practice; instead, it denounced the whistleblowers as fomenters of “intolerance.”

School districts that refuse to go along with the homosexual agenda now must contend with the American Civil Liberties Union, too. The ACLU’s Lesbian and Gay Rights Project has launched a national effort, called “Every Student, Every School,” that plans to sue on First Amendment grounds any school that refuses gay/straight student clubs on its premises. Already, schools in Kentucky and Texas face legal action.

No compulsory public school system can be justified unless what it teaches is a worldview that the taxpayers who fund it can support. The “common schools” came into existence, after all, to acculturate immigrants to American values. For schools to try to indoctrinate children in a radical, minority worldview like that promoted by GLSEN and its allies—a vision that will form those children’s values and shape their sense of selfhood—is a kind of tyranny, one that, in addition, intentionally drives a wedge between parents and children and, as queer theorist Michael Warner boasts, “opposes society itself.” We must not let an appeal to our belief in tolerance and decency blind us to indecency—and to the individual and social damage that will result from it.

Susan Glendale Cal. – "I can’t rally the nation." on Rush Limbaugh

BEGIN TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: All right, Susan in Glendale, California, nice to have you on the EIB Network. Hello.

CALLER: Rush, it’s a huge honor for me to speak to you, and I hope I can keep my — my voice level, because I am so passionate. I am as passionate as you are about this country. I’m a conservative. I’ve listened to you for 25 years. I’m married. I have seven kids. And when you were telling me about how all of the shenanigans that they’re going to do in the Senate to pass two different Senate bills then slam ’em together, attach them to some House bill about TARP, and then jam it through and jam it down our throats, I got furious. And then I listened to what you said about the Michigan mom who was watching some kids before they went to school and how the Michigan state came down on her accusing her of running an illegal day care, and you’re right: What they’re going to do is they’re going to threaten our health and they’re going to threaten the health of our children. If I don’t comply with their health care, I’m not going to be able to get my children the medicine they need.

RUSH: No, it’s not — whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. It’s not if you don’t comply with their health care. It’s if you’re a good citizen in support of the liberals running the country.

CALLER: Yes, sir. And I’m not. I’m a conservative. You know what? I’m 45. I might fall and break my hip in the next ten years. They’re going to have to give me a shot because they’re not going to want me to be healed and they’re going to do this to my children. It’s like you said. They are the party of abortion. They are the party of euthanasia. They are trying to wipe out senior citizens who are maybe not as useful to the Democrat National Committee as they should be, we’re not contributing enough to them. And I am outraged and furious. And my question to you — because I’m a political nobody; I’m just out here on the Left Coast in la-la land watching all the liberals run our California state bankrupt — is: “What can we do, legally, morally, to take this country back?” I want people to stand up, and I want them to vote these criminals, these pedophiles out of office.

I want them to take back the state of California and make it a Golden State, and I want them to take back Washington. But we’re little people, and we marched two million of us down to Washington and the press — ABC, NBC, CBS, MSNBC — not one of them shows pictures on the news, not one of them will report anything. In fact, they cover it up! I’ve talked to so many people on the phone, just neighbors who are liberal and some of them are conservative, both sides, and I tell them these things. “Go to Fox News. Look at this.” No one sees the truth. But the travesty of all of this — part of this is politics as normal, independent, it’s two party. We’re going to fight and tussle over what’s right and wrong and, you know, we’re going to win some, lose some. But the damning thing today is that the press, the press is betraying us and we have no way — us, we be the little political moms, nobodies. I’m a mother, and I have no one to listen to, to go to on the news, except for you and Fox.

Tell us what we can do in 2010, other than voting for Sarah Palin. Which I will do. But I need to know because I don’t have much hope. I sure don’t have hope from Obama. I need hope from Rush and I want you to please tell us what we can do, because this is the life of my children. They’re on the line. They can put me out to pasture, but, yes, they’ve got me over a barrel. Because I will do anything to save the lives of my children, even if it means I’ve gotta kiss some big Democrat’s rear end to get the health care for my baby, I’ll have to do it, and that sickens me because they’re my employees. I’m paying their salaries. I’m paying for their fancy office of doctors down where you were talking about at the House of Representatives and the Senate. They just get to walk in and pay $503 and they get all the health care that they need for $503, specialists flown in.

The pharmacy right there on their hour! Probably open 24 hours a day. Nobody has to wait. They get that because I’m paying for it. I’m paying for it! It’s coming out of my children’s allowances, my grocery money. They are getting it, and they’re taking it without listening, without representing us — like you said, the small R. I’m not being represented. I’ve called Boxer’s office. I’ve called Adam Schiff who is my so-called representative. They are very polite to little people on the phone but the people who are running this country don’t listen to us. There are millions of us and we are all furious. And no one, no one is even reporting what is being said! And I’m watching my country that I love, that my father fought for in World War II, that my father-in-law was wounded and got the Purple Heart for — and I’m watching it just being taken, just like candy from a baby.

“Oh, we’ll help you. We’ll give you health care. Here’s a lollipop. Go away,” and nobody’s doing anything. I’m sorry to be so angry, but I need hope, and I need to know how to counteract these’s shenanigans. This is not what we put people in government for is to run little-bitty side bills, smash ’em together, and then vote ’em under the carpet into a different health care bill that is languishing in some committee that they haven’t voted on. That’s dirty politics and it shouldn’t be happening. It should up-and-down votes. And you’re right. The 63 new judges coming on, that’s going to cement — that’s going to absolutely cement — their ability to write law instead of legislate. They can just send it to the judges. The judges will rubber stamp it. We’ll have liberal judges, we’ll just write the law. Never mind conservatism. Never mind reading what the law actually says. I look at this, and I see this happening every day.

I’m listening to you, and I’m to the point where I don’t even know if I should listen anymore because I’m so passionate and I’m so furious to watch all this and to hear it all happening, and I feel so powerless for the first time in my life. I’m glad Mrs. Obama is proud of her country for the first time in her life. I, as a mother, as a nobody I am ashamed of my government for the first time in my life — and I need to know how to combat this, especially in 2010. What can I do today, now, to help, to revitalize these namby-pamby liberal Republican RINOs in our Senate and in our government who are just voting to get along and “I want to get reelected.” That’s nonsense. They’re not standing up for what is good and clean and right. They’re not standing up for our Constitution. They should be all thrown out, every last one of them — and I don’t know how to mobilize people, but you do, Rush. You do! You have the power. And with great gifts, God gives great responsibility. And I beg you please, please give us hope and lead us. Because this cannot stand. They cannot keep doing this. This is wrong.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: We still have Susan on the line from Glendale, California, and Susan, I was under no inclination to interrupt you or stop you, even when we got to the segment end.

CALLER: I apologize.

RUSH: No, don’t apologize, just the exact opposite. You summarized my first hour in ten minutes.

CALLER: Well, I like to listen to you, you’re great, and you always give us the facts.

RUSH: But you asked me what you could do.

CALLER: Yes.

RUSH: One thing you have to realize, you just did it. The passion and the emotion that you brought without one stutter —

CALLER: Well —

RUSH: You didn’t lose your train of thought. There was not one stutter. And I guarantee you the people in this, the largest radio audience in the country, are all out there standing up and cheering on their feet.

CALLER: You know what, Rush? I did it without a teleprompter! Or notes! So there.

RUSH: Or a writer. You didn’t have a ghostwriter.

CALLER: No, I didn’t. I have a three-year-old son, but he can’t do this. But I didn’t use a teleprompter, and I know what I’m saying, which is, I’m sorry, perhaps more than I can say for some of the people who are running our country. And it insults my intelligence. I walked away from a very good job at a law firm, I’m educated, I have a law degree, and I did it because I was promoted by God to be a mother of seven. I’m giving everything I’ve got to them. And the one thing I cannot give them, absent help from good people all over this country, I can’t give them the American way of life. I can’t give them freedom. I can’t give them that. I can teach them and that’s all I can do. But everybody’s got to stand up, and, you know what? Why don’t you make 2010 the worst nightmare ever for the Democrats. Pick up the phone, call Sarah Palin, and you two run, run in 2010. Rush and Sarah. Do it. They would go nuts. I know you couldn’t do your show every day. And I know there are not enough Democrat women like Pelosi in the Senate to give you your 30 minutes of aerobic activity because there’s no boobs to ogle like you were telling about that German study finding that 10 minutes of breast ogling helps men, but we’ll get you a treadmill in there, I’m sure the White House will have a treadmill, it’s got a basketball court now and other things and an organic garden. We’ll get you set up, we’ll keep you healthy, maybe once you judge the Miss America contest, maybe you could do that every year, and that would give you a good cardiovascular burst. And you could go ahead and run the country for four years. But we gotta do something.

RUSH: Well, one thing I want to tell you here is, you are not alone. I know you feel it, you said it —

CALLER: I do.

RUSH: — you feel you’re just a little person out there on the left coast and you’re overwhelmed by all this, but I think you should try to understand that the majority of people who pay attention to stuff in this country are with you on this. Their frustration is identical to yours.

CALLER: Yes, but they don’t know how to mobilize to do it, to stop it. We’re going to have this health care bill rammed down our throats before the election.

RUSH: Wait a second, now. I think they do. People have been mobilizing on their own. That’s one of the great things about all the tea parties and the other things going on, is there’s not an identifiable leader saying, “Go here, do that, I want you to show up.”

CALLER: I know.

RUSH: People are doing it on their own, of their own volition, their own emotion, because they’re just like you —

CALLER: I know.

RUSH: — they don’t want to lose the country, they don’t want to see it taken over, they don’t want to see it destroyed this way, especially for their children and grandchildren, and there are more of you than you know. Now, this health care thing, you talk about 2010. If they’re able to ram this through in the next couple of weeks or the next couple of months —

CALLER: Yeah.

RUSH: — 2010 is going to be nothing but punishment.

CALLER: I hope so.

RUSH: Now, the one thing to keep in mind here, the one thing to keep in mind is — I’m actually wrong. I need to take that back. This bill is not going to be implemented until 2013.

CALLER: Right. Right.

RUSH: So 2010 is crucial. That’s where the real change is going to come, and that’s throwing these Democrats out, as many as possible.

CALLER: Yes.

RUSH: Now, there are two things that I want to say to you here. The reason that 2013 is the year is because everybody in charge of this plan, from Obama to Reid and Pelosi, all the Democrats know full well there’s going to be a revolt.

CALLER: Yes. I know they know this. They’re just trying to lock it in anyway.

RUSH: Well, no —

CALLER: — because they want to secure their power.

RUSH: But 2012 is Obama’s reelection year, 2013 it gets implemented. If it got implemented before 2012 Obama would be beaten in a landslide —

CALLER: That’s right.

RUSH: — and he still may be, ACORN notwithstanding.

CALLER: Yes.

RUSH: The second thing here about all of these things that are happening, and you feel powerless to do anything about it, I think what’s happening throughout the country is an illustration that people are not powerless. This passion, this emotion that you represent here today that is felt by millions will have and is going to have an outlet. These techniques, the things that are being tried by the Democrats here are so against the decency and grain of the vast majority of the people in this country —

CALLER: That’s what’s offensive.

RUSH: — they’re not going to put up with it.

CALLER: I know. That’s what’s offensive —

RUSH: They aren’t going to put up with it.

CALLER: It’s not just politics as usual. It’s not, “Okay, we win some and we lose some.” This is underhanded, dirty dealing, “Okay, we’re going to vote for one bill, but we’re going to switch it, we’re going to edit it out.” It’s like a computer, you just zap it out and stick something in, but the vote doesn’t get edited. It’s virtual bills. We just get to change it. It’s outrageous. If I did this in a job, I would be fired. And yet they keep doing it and we’ve got to hold them accountable.

RUSH: And trust me, believe me, they will be.

CALLER: I know you’re right. That’s why I listen to you every day I can.

RUSH: I will tell you when it’s time to panic. And it isn’t time to panic. Panic doesn’t lead to productive action.

CALLER: True.

RUSH: I’ll tell you when it’s time. What you’re feeling right now is not even panic.

CALLER: No, it’s rage. It’s outrage.

RUSH: You are outraged and you want a positive channel for it.

CALLER: Yes, I do. I want a positive way to effect and reclaim this country and to protect my children and to give them a good life.

RUSH: Here’s the second thing that I want to warn everybody against with all this passion. Because in this mix you and I haven’t discussed the Republican Party, have we?

CALLER: No, we haven’t.

RUSH: Well, let’s do that for just a second, because it’s crucial. While your rage, your outrage is properly directed at the architects of this disaster, the Democrat Party, at the same time, we don’t really see a lot of rage from our own elected representatives, do we? This is one of the reasons why —

CALLER: This is why we’re mad, ’cause they’re not outraged.

RUSH: That’s right.

CALLER: They don’t say anything, they don’t do anything.

RUSH: If you can call this radio show and in ten minutes, without one stutter, lay out the very dire threats that face this country, why in the hell can’t professional politicians stand up and say the same thing and take action to stop it?

CALLER: Amen.

RUSH: And that’s really the level of your frustration.

CALLER: Yes.

RUSH: Now, here’s where this is going to lead. If we’re not careful, this is going to lead people to start saying, “We need a third party.”

CALLER: No. No, no, no, no.

RUSH: Wait, hear me out. It’s going to lead to people say, “Both parties are the same, there’s no difference, Republicans and Democrats.” What we have to focus on here is taking back the Republican Party. I think there is enough rage right now, and if it sustains itself, and it will, Obama’s not going to stop any of this garbage, and the Democrats are not going to stop, so it will sustain itself.

CALLER: And we have to take back the party and revitalize it —

RUSH: Yeah.

CALLER: — with true conservatives.

RUSH: Exactly. That’s what has to happen. But at some point just voting against people is not enough.

CALLER: Right.

RUSH: It will be enough in 2010. But who we gonna elect in place of them? Where are the candidates going to come from?

CALLER: Yeah.

RUSH: I’m talking particularly now the House and the Senate. I mean you talked about the RINOs in the Senate, and there are a lot of them, and they’re scared to death of the media in Washington, they’re scared to death of being called racists, they’re scared to death of having happen to them what happens to Sarah Palin. They’re scared to death of having happen to them what happened to Joe Wilson. So they’ve got their own fear they have to overcome. They don’t understand that they’ve got an army of people. Even after all the campaign contributions Joe Wilson got, they still don’t see there’s an army of people willing to back ’em up if they would just lead. There’s an army of people ready to follow ’em.

CALLER: I gave Joe Wilson money. The minute he said it, the very night that he said “you lie,” I sent that guy money. And when he refused to apologize for a second time, when he’d already apologized personally to President Obama, and when he refused to do it again for the House and Senate, I sent him more money.

RUSH: ‘Kin’ A!

CALLER: And that’s what we gotta do. We gotta back the people who are being leaders, and then we gotta kick out the ones who aren’t. But we can’t do a third party, we can’t do a tea party because we’ll be locked in with the Democrats, they’ll run the show because we’ll keep splitting the vote for 30 years.

RUSH: ‘Kin’ A! Exactly right. That’s going to lead to permanent victory for Democrats.

CALLER: I know! How do you tell people this? How do you say, “Whatever you do, vote conservative and get the Republican Party back.”

RUSH: Okay, we’re always going to have Perotistas.

CALLER: Yes, I remember him.

RUSH: All you gotta say to them, “Have you ever heard of Bill Clinton?”

CALLER: Yeah.

RUSH: You ever heard of Bill Clinton?

CALLER: Yeah.

RUSH: That’s something coming in the future, but this notion that both parties are the same and we gotta throw ’em all out, unrealistic, they’re not the same, there’s no way that any Republican would be offering any of the things the Democrats are offering right now.

CALLER: I know.

RUSH: There is simply no way.

CALLER: But there is no room for cowards in government.

RUSH: Not right now. The country’s at stake.

CALLER: If you’re going to be in government you gotta play —

RUSH: The country is at stake. You’re right, this is not about the traditional back-and-forth, the policy arguments, and we come to an agreement at the end of the day, we compromise and so forth. This is about the future of the country. So I understand your frustration. Believe me, I feel it, too. You’re asking me what you can do. We’re all asking ourselves that. You know, what can we do? People are marching; people are showing up in public; calling all these people’s offices. I think it’s a waste of your time, by the way, to call Boxer. I think right now if you’re going to call anybody, call Harry Reid’s office. I don’t care whether they talk to you or not, flood ’em, shut ’em down, e-mail, faxes, just shut ’em down, call Harry Reid’s Nevada’s office, he’s worried about 2010 reelection. Harry Reid is about to have happen to him what happened to Tom Daschle. You call Harry Reid, don’t waste your time on Pelosi. Call Steny Hoyer. Call some of the Blue Dogs and moderates and so forth, because, I’ll tell you, these people, their political futures are up for grabs as well, the Blue Dog Democrats in the House.

But Harry Reid, you know, he’s the guy that’s the architect, along with Obama, of the shenanigans going on in the Senate right now. And, by the way, she spelled it out perfectly. If you didn’t hear the first hour, she gave you the summary of it pretty well, how they’re planning to attach two Senate health care bills to a House bill that the Senate has not yet acted on, on taxing bonuses. They’re basically going to attach a hybrid health care bill to the Senate version of the tax on bonuses bill and send that back to the House and have them vote on that with health care, single payer, public option health care being an amendment to a bill on taxing bonuses. And then they send that right up to Obama. Now, Susan, that’s not guaranteed. For this to happen, Pelosi and the House have to go along with whatever Harry Reid sends ’em and not amend it and not add to it or take away from it, and you know, by the time the Congressional Black Caucus and some of the wacko leftists in the House get a look at the Senate bill, if it doesn’t have all the giveaways in it that they want, it could get screwed up. But this is the attempt going on, and this is how it would be done with 51 votes instead of 60, which is required in the Senate.

All of this is a tantamount admission that the American people don’t want it; it’s a tantamount admission they can’t pass it with public support and what that means is that they are scheming against the American people. The enemy of this government is not Moammar Khadafy; the enemy of this government is not Ahmadinejad; the enemy of this country is not Osama Bin Laden; the enemy of this country is the American people. The enemy of the Democrat Party right now in getting what they want is the American people, and that’s who they’re scheming against. And you know that, too, and that’s why you’re outraged. This is not supposed to be a banana republic. This is supposed to be a representative republic with a small R, and they’re obliterating it. They’ve been working at this for 50 years or more. Their dreams have come true. But they are overreaching and they’re getting so much public opposition now that they’re trying to figure out how to get past it and get done what they want and still maintain their power. I gotta go, Susan. Thanks for a great call.

BREAK TRANSCRIPT

RUSH: Internal message here to Koko up at the website. Koko, I want you to put the audio and transcript of Susan from Glendale on the free side of the website tonight. She said, “I can’t rally the nation.” Susan, you just did. My e-mail’s going nuts in here. “Thank you for letting her go on without interrupting her. Nobody else would do that.” That’s because I am a highly trained broadcast professional. … Teresa in Ithaca, New York, welcome to the EIB Network. Hello.

CALLER: Rush, what a pleasure it is to talk to you. I’ve been listening to you since day one, and it is absolutely a pleasure this afternoon to get through. I just wanted to thank you. I understand you’ve gotten many, many e-mails already for letting Susan speak her mind because her heartfelt sentiments are just echoing across the country, and it’s nice to hear somebody who is so eloquent in what she had to say and to also understand her frustration because so many of us are feeling the same way.

RUSH: Exactly right. And it would be great if every Republican member of Congress and the Senate could hear that call. We might find a way to make that happen, but it will be on the free side at RushLimbaugh.com when we update this afternoon.

American police Force Update: Michael Hilton’s prior prison Experience

An Update from my first findings on the APF:

from the Billings Gazette it’s reported that the Montana Attorney General will be investigating
this serbian American Police Force.

HELENA -(by Jennifer Mckee)
Montana Attorney General Steve Bullock launched an
investigation Thursday into American Police Force, the California
company founded by a Serbian immigrant with a lengthy criminal
history that is seeking to run an empty, 464-bed jail in
Hardin.

Bullock sent a nine-page demand letter late Thursday afternoon
to Becky Shay, the spokeswoman for APF and the company’s only
Montana employee.

Shay did not immediately respond to phone calls Thursday.
(she’s probably tryin’ to get her old job back)

The Billings Gazette and Associated Press reported that Hilton has
an extensive criminal past with $1.1 million in outstanding civil judgments against him.
Hilton, who has a long list of aliases, left his native Serbia in
the 1970s and has served time in U.S. prisons
.

((so Hilton has experience to operate within prison walls after all –
still wondering whether that first check was to be drafted on Bank of Nigeria))
